Love Our Canucks

If this report came from anybody else but Manny’s Brother-in-Law, I would probably discount it as a rumor. But according to Manny’s Brother-in-Law, Steve Nash, Manny will undergo surgery tomorrow “to save his eye and vision.” The Vancouver Canucks had no comment on his condition Monday.

“I need my brother in law, Manny Malhotra of the Vancouver Canucks, to have a successful eye surgery tomorrow saving his eye and vision.”

Obviously this is a personal, and emotional time for Manny’s family, and Steve’s tweet reflects that. Let’s hope that everybody takes this for what it is, and remembers the important thing about this report, and that’s Manny’s well-being and ultimately his vision.

We as fans are not “owed” more information about Manny or his condition and the best things us fans can do for Manny right now is respect his and his family’s privacy during this time.
